The Dedham Village Preservation Association (DVPA) is a private, non-profit, tax-exempt organization that focuses its efforts on preserving and enhancing the qualities that make Dedham unique.
The DVPA seeks to maintain and preserve the ambient balance of historic residences and open space that is the charm of the Dedham Historic District.
The DVPA promotes a high standard for preservation and new construction growth in the Historic District, and works with state and local agencies, officials, and community groups to develop collaborative solutions and strategies for the problems that arise in a densely populated community.
